Men's Cross Country Kicks Off Season with Home Win

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights Men's Cross Country team hosted the Siena Heights Invitation at Heritage Park on Saturday morning. The Saints ran an 8k and won the meet out of four teams with a team score of 27 and a top-five average time of 27:45.

TOP SAINTS

Junior Liam Hartsuff (Chelsea, Mich.) led the Saints as his time was 26:05.89 and placed 1st overall. He finished 39 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher and earned his first career win. Senior Jordan Parkinson (Coldwater, Mich.) placed second on the team with a time of 27:41.49 for fourth place. Senior Bradley Bauer (Mount Gilead, Ohio) placed third on the team finishing sixth overall with a time of 28:01.15. Freshman Abdullah Nasser (Dearborn, Mich.) finished right behind Parkinson as he had a time of 28:10.17 placing fourth on the team. Sophomore Cedric Grant Jr. (Clinton Township, Mich.) earned fifth on the team and placed ninth overall with a time of 28:51.27. Siena Heights had all runners finish in the top 11 out of 25 runners.
