GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's cross country team placed sixth among 10 teams at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday. A total of 98 runners competed.
Timothy Young was the Saints' top finisher on the 8K course, taking 17th in 26:36. Dominic Muessig finished 36th in 27:29 and Kyler Vanwormer placed 37th in 27:31.
Also scoring for SHU, Parker Saenz ran to 68th in 28:52 while William Jackson took 79th in 29:32.
Terrell McGee was named to the WHAC Champions of Character Team.
Aquinas won the WHAC team championship with 38 points. It was led by leading runner Jeff Cherry, who clocked in at 25:22. Siena Heights had 177 points.
