GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Samuel Parlette placed 15th among 375 runners, helping the Siena Heights men's cross country team to a 24th-place finish on Saturday at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge.
Parlette finished the 8-kilometer course in 26:13.97 as the Saints scored 673 team points.
Also scoring for SHU, Shayne Dingman took 149th with a 28:25.14, Matthew Robinet was 200th with a 29:16.81, Parker Saenz finished 247th in 29:59.72, and Ian Scalon de Faria ran to 322nd in 31:57.95.
Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) was the winning team with 77 points. Indiana Wesleyan was runner-up with 84 and Saint Francis (Ill.) took third with 93.
Mizael Carrera was the individual winner with a time of 25:02.68.
The Saints will compete next on Saturday, Nov. 8, at the WHAC Championships in Grand Rapids.
