Men's Volleyball Holds On For Five-Set Win Over Aquinas

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's volleyball team held on for a 3-2 victory against WHAC opponent Aquinas on Tuesday at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Four different Saints registered double-digit kills, let by Marc Arsenault, who had 14. Rasi Bailey added 12, Daniel Rua put down 11 and Francesc Baza contributed 10. Bailey was also in on five total blocks.

Zak Tucker finished with 48 assists and Jacob Kisner made 15 digs. Jakob Pickett totaled four blocks.

SHU (10-11, 7-6) broke an 11-all tie in the opening set with an 11-3 run. It stormed out to a 17-5 advantage in the second to take a 2-0 match lead.

Aquinas pulled even with wins in the third and fourth sets.

In the fifth, SHU trailed only once at 2-1 and scored 5 of 7 points to finish off the match.

Siena Heights will play next on Friday when it visits Indiana Tech for a 7 p.m. match.
