GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's volleyball team earned a 3-1 victory against Aquinas in WHAC action on Tuesday night. Set scores in favor of SHU were 25-20, 25-21, 22-25, 25-19.

Zak Tucker had a strong all-around effort with 43 assists, eight aces and five blocks. Marc Arsenault led the team with 12 kills, followed by Jonathan Stovring (11), Daniel Rua (9) and Rasi Bailey (9).

The Saints (8-7, 6-5) never trailed in the opening set after taking a 5-0 lead. SHU had a sizzling .706 hit percentage in the set.

SHU broke an 18-all tie in the second set, outscoring Aquinas 7-4 the rest of the way to take a 2-0 match lead.

The Saints finished out the fourth set with a similar run after Aquinas pulled within 18-17. Siena Heights ended the match with a 7-2 stretch.

SHU will have an extended break from competition until it returns to action on Saturday, Mar. 16, with a pair of home non-conference matches against Georgetown and Olivet Nazarene.
