ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's volleyball team swept NCAA Division III Olivet, 3-0, in its home opener on Wednesday at the SHU Fieldhouse. Set scores, in favor of the Saints, were 25-13, 25-18, 25-21.

Daniel Rua had 12 kills and Marc Arsenault put down 10 kills for the Saints (2-1). Jakob Pickett added eight kills and four total blocks while Zak Tucker finished with 31 assists and nine digs.

SHU came out strong with a .714 hitting percentage in the opening set, finishing with 16 kills and one error on 21 attempts.

In the second, the Saints build a 10-3 lead before holding off a late charge from Olivet (2-9).

SHU fell behind 5-3 in the third before answering. The Saints broke a 12-all tie in the set with three straight points and never trailed after that.

The Saints will return to action this weekend with matches against Mount Vernon Nazarene on Friday and Saturday.
