GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to WHAC opponent Aquinas on Tuesday night. Aquinas, ranked just outside the NAIA Top 15, won via set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-21.

Marc Arsenault led the way with nine kills and Bernard Bell put down seven for SHU. Zak Tucker made 26 assists.

Aquinas broke a 10-all tie with six straight points in the opening set and held off a late Siena Heights rally to take a 1-0 lead.

In the second, a SHU rally pulled it into a 20-20 knot before Aquinas closed the set with a 5-2 stretch. Siena Heights made a similar run at the end of the third, but again fell short.

Julian Armendano led the Aquinas attack with 12 kills.

The Saints will compete next on Tuesday, Feb. 28, with a visit to WHAC opponent Lourdes.
