NAIA Honors Browne as Men's Volleyball Attacker of the Week

Siena Heights men's volleyball player Kyle Browne was honored as the NAIA Attacker of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday, for his efforts in the games against No. 5 Lourdes (Ohio), Penn State-Behrend (Pa.) and Theil (Pa.).

Browne earned a career-high 22 kills and 17 digs in the 3-2 upset over No. 5 Lourdes in conference action, while tallying three aces and four blocks. He helped SHU to a 3-0 sweep against Penn State-Behrend with 19 kills and eight digs.

The sophomore only played one set against Thiel, managing four kills and a dig. Browne has been an offensive force for the Saints all season as SHU went 10-1 in March action while improving to 19-5 overall.

This is the first NAIA weekly honor for a men's volleyball player at SHU, and a first for Browne.

The Saints will return to action on Friday, April 6, as they travel to Lourdes (Ohio) for the 2018 NAIA National Qualifying Tournament where they will take on Benedictine-Mesa (Ariz.) at 4 p.m.
