SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's volleyball team defeated Lawrence Tech 3-0 in conference action, on Friday. Set scores were 25-10, 25-16, 25-18.

The Saints (6-1, 1-1) maintained control of the match throughout the game, beginning with a 6-0 run in the first set and never looking back.

Leading the Saints was Matthew Dugan with seven kills and three digs. John Kalugar and Julian Ayar each had five kills while Kalugar earned six digs. Keegan Crawford led SHU with 24 assists.

With six kills each, Lawrence Patton and Zach Whatcott led the Blue Devils (0-5, 0-2). Jacob Paige managed 15 assists and seven digs.

Next up, Siena Heights will host a tournament with teams Cincinati Christian (Ohio), Cardinal Stritch (Wis.), Campbellsville (Ky.) and Lawrence Tech. SHU's first match will be Friday, Feb. 10, against Cincinnati Christian for an 8 p.m. start.
