Allison Nimtz is the assistant coach for hurdles, long jump and triple jump for the Siena Heights men's and women's track and field programs. She graduated from Hillsdale in 2023 magna cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology and is currently pursuing her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at SHU.
Coach Nimtz competed for the Capital Homeschool Athletic Program in high school, and holds school records in the 100- dash, 200- dash and 400-meter dashes, and all three sprint relays. During her undergrad at Hillsdale, she competed in the heptathlon and pentathlon, as well as the open 100 hurdles and long jump.
Nimtz earned coaching experience at the high school level, returning to her high school alma mater as a volunteer assistant coach. There, she helped coach athletes on the boys' team to school records in the 100, 200, 400, 4x200 relay and long jump, and on the girls' team to a school record in shot put.
This is Nimtz’s first year coaching college athletics.
