Harris Wins Shot Put; Men's Track and Field Places Fifth at WHACs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Jordan Harris won the shot put, helping the Siena Heights men's outdoor track and field team to a fifth-place finish after the WHAC Championships, which took place at Indiana Tech Thursday and Friday.

Harris threw the shot 14.92 meters (48 feet, 7 1/2 inches) to win the shot.

Matthew Gipple had the Saints' lone NAIA auto performance of the day with a 7.29m (23-11) leap in the long jump. He placed second.
