Four Individual Winners as Men's Track and Field Opens Outdoor Season

SPRING ARBOR and EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Matthew Gipple, Alan Alston and Noah Cunningham were event winners as the Siena Heights men's outdoor track and field team opened the season over the weekend at Spring Arbor's Bill Bippes Cougar Classic and Michigan State's Invitational.

All three won at Spring Arbor. Gipple won the 100-meter dash in 10.83, Alan Alston took the pole vault with a height of 14 feet, 1 1/4 inches (4.30 meters), Jordan Harris placed first in the shot put with a 49-4 1/4 (15.04m) and Noah Cunningham won the javelin with a 172-6 (52.59m).
