ADRIAN, Mich. -- Noah Cunningham and Jefferson Edwards were individual champions for the Siena Heights men's outdoor track and field team during the WHAC Championships, which took place Thursday and Friday at O'Laughlin Stadium.

Cunningham placed first in the javelin with a distance of 54.93 meters (180 feet, 2 inches). He also registered an NAIA auto time in the 110-meter hurdles, finishing second in 14.36 seconds.

Edwards won the shot put with a throw of 14.72 meters (48-3 1/2).

Matthew Gipple had a provisional distance of 7.18 meters while placing runner-up in the long jump.

As a team, the Saints placed fourth among 10 teams with 116 points. Indiana Tech was the WHAC team champ with 201.5 points.
