Cunningham Hits Provisional during Men's Track and Field Action at Oakland's Grizzly Invite

ROCHESTER, Mich. -- Noah Cunningham had a strong all-around day Saturday as the Siena Heights men's outdoor track and field team competed in Oakland's Golden Grizzly Invitational.

Cunningham won the 110-meter hurdles with an NAIA provisional time of 14.62 seconds. He also placed third in the javelin and ran a leg for the second-place 4x100 relay team.

Cunningham's mark in the jav was 54.12 meters (177 feet, 7 inches). In the 4x100, teammates were Donovan Miller, Roman Iott and Matthew Gipple. The foursome had a time of 42.71.

Gipple had a strong day in two individual events, as well. He finished third in the long jump with a 6.83m (22-5). Gipple also ran the 100 prelims and had the second-best time of 10.95s. He did not compete in the 100 finals.
