GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Cedric Grant won the 800-meter run as the Siena Heights men's indoor track and field team competed Friday at the WHAC/MIAA Challenge at Aquinas.

Grant led a 1-4-5 finish by Saints in the half-mile. His winning time was 1:57.45, followed by Tyler Landis in fourth (2:02.36) and Nethanel Leupold in fifth (2:05.14).

Andrew Stern placed fourth in the 3,000 in 9:29.09 and Nylaan Alexander ran to fifth in the 60 hurdles (9.24 seconds).

Jefferson Edwards had a pair of Top 5 finishes in throws, taking third in shot put (14.31 meters) and fourth in weight throw (16.21m).

SHU's 4x400 relay team added a third-place finish in 3:36.97. Team members were Jacob Sand, Landis, Leupold and Alexander.
