SAGINAW, Mich. – Noah Cunningham and Jefferson Edwards hit NAIA provisional-qualifying marks during the Siena Heights men's indoor track and field's day at the Saginaw Valley State Invitational on Friday.
Cunningham had a time of 8.29 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles, good enough for runner-up. In the weight throw, Edwards distanced 16.45 meters for third place.
Matthew Gipple added a pair of wins in the 60-meter dash and the long jump. He ran the 60 in 6.97 seconds and his 6.87 meters in the long jump.
Gipple also registered a runner-up finish in the 200 in 22.43 seconds. Donovan Miller took third in 22.50.
Wyatt Wesley tied for first in the pole vault with a height of 4.10 meters.
Jacob Harberts ran to third place in the mile with a time of 4:18.03.
