NAPERVILLE, Illinois – The Siena Heights men's track and field team competed on Thursday, May 12th, in the Carius/Gregory Invitational in Naperville, Illinois .
Zachary Gipple claimed second place in the shot-put throwing, 16.35 meters, to earn an A and B Standard. Gipple also competed in the discus event throwing for a distance of 43.4 meters, to earn eighth place. Timothy Werner competed in the pole vault event, flying a height of 4.57 meters to finish sixth overall. Sebastian Hamilton placed ninth in the shot-put heaving, a distance of 14.30 meters. Hamilton also earned a thirteenth-place finish in the hammer throw with a total distance of 49.00 meters. Jefferson Edwards finished twelfth in the hammer finals throwing 49.17 meters. Edwards also, earned fourteenth place in the discus event totaling 40.15 meters.
