ADRIAN, Mich. -- Siena Heights senior Davion Curry was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) men's field athlete of the week this afternoon when the league office announced the weekly award winners.
Curry took first in both the men's long jump and triple jump this past Friday, January 28th. With a Long jump of 6.67m and a triple jump distance of 12.92m.
This is the first WHAC weekly award for Curry in his career. It will join his second-team All WHAC and his All-WHAC honorable mention awards.
The Saints are scheduled to compete again Friday, February 4th, at the Red, White, and Blue Track Classic at the Lab in Lincoln, in Ypsilanti, Mich.
