GULF SHORES, Ala. – The final day of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Outdoor Track and Field National Championships had Zachary Gipple compete in the shot put event.

Gipple placed 10th with a best throw of 16.92 meters (55-6 ¼), a personal-best heave, at the national event. His previous best toss (16.41 meters) came at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC), crowned the conference champion.

The Siena Heights men's outdoor track and field team finished the 2021 season with one WHAC outdoor champion and seven NAIA national qualifiers.
