GULF SHORES, Ala. – Day two of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Outdoor Track and Field National Championships saw one competitor from Siena Heights University. Zach Kunst competed in the discus throw in the evening.
Kunst had a best toss of 46.10 meters (151-3) to finish 14th in the event. The discus was the final event for Kunst at the national championship meet.
Zachary Gipple is the final Saint men's track and field athlete to compete at the national championship meet. He competes in the shot put on the last day, Friday, May 28, at 2:00 p.m., CDT. Gipple enters the event ranked 15th in the NAIA with a throw of 16.41 meters (53-10 ¼), which he made to win the shot put at the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships.
