Men's Track and Field Finishes 3rd at the WHAC Indoor Championships

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's track and field team finished third with 92 points at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Aquinas College on Saturday Afternoon. There were 10 Saints who earned WHAC honors on the day.

Nathan Parker was one of nine Saints earning a spot on the All-WHAC Second Team. He finished second in the 600-meter with a time of 1:25.74.

Liam Hartsuff was the second to earn All-WHAC Second Team as he finished the 5k with a time of 15:46.86.

Davion Curry (Junior, Detroit, Mich.) was the third to earn All-WHAC Second Team as he had a "B-Standard" distance of 7.03m in the long jump for second place. He also scored five team points with a fourth-place finished in the triple jump with a distance of 12.70m (41' 8").

Rees Nemeth was the fourth to earn All-WHAC Second Team as he cleared the bar at 4.50m (14' 9") in the pole vault. 

The 4x400 relay team of Nathan Parker, Cedric Grant, Davion Curry, and Naythan Haslam placed second with a time of 3:24.42 to earn All-WHAC Second-Team. Grant also scored four team points in the 800m with a fifth-place finish. Haslam also scored three team points in the 400m with a sixth-place finished with a time of 51.52 and one team point in the 200m finishing eighth with a time of 22.91.

Zach Kunst earned All-WHAC Second-Team as he finished second in the weight throw with a "B-Standard" distance of 16.46m (54' 0"). He also scored two team points with a seventh-place finish in the shot put earning a distance of 13.78m (45' 2.5").

Brenden Knoll earned All-WHAC Honorable-Mention as he placed third in the shot put with a distance of 14.69m.
