Saints Use Seven Event Wins To Round Out WHAC vs. MIAA Challenge at Aquinas

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's indoor track and field team won seven events and added a "B-Standard" as they competed at the WHAC vs. MIAA Challenge hosted by Aquinas College on Friday, February 14th. 

TOP FINISHERS

Davion Curry (Junior, Detroit, Mich.) earned a time of 7:12 in the 60m for first place that propelled him to 14th place in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC). He also earned a "B-Standard" and PR in the long jump as he had a distance of 7.09m (23' 3.25") for first place that lifted him to second in the WHAC and 14th in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Cedric Grant (Freshman, Clinton, Mich.) finished first in the 800m with a time of 1:59.12 as he earned a PR and now sits in sixth place in the WHAC. Jordan Parkinson (Junior, Coldwater, Mich.) had a PR with a time of 4:28.08 in the mile as he earned first place and is currently sixth in the WHAC. He also placed seventh in the 800m with a time of 2:04.24. Liam Hartsuff (Sophomore, Chelsea, Mich.) won the 3k with a time of 9:03.33. He's currently in fourth place in the WHAC with his performance last week at the Hillsdale Wide Track Open. Dalin Morris (Freshman, Toledo, Ohio), Nathan Parker (Freshman, Macomb, Mich.), Cedric Grant, and Davion Curry won the 4x400 with a time of 3:31.06 that lifted them to fifth place in the WHAC. Nathan Parker also finished second in the 600m with a time of 1:27.20 and earned a PR that lifted him to 14th place in the WHAC. Dalin Morris also placed third in the 400m with a time of 53.35 and is currently 14th in the WHAC with his performance at the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic. Rees Nemeth (Junior, Hillsdale, Mich.) cleared the bar at 4.35m (14' 3.25") in the pole vault for first place. He is tied for first place in the WHAC with his finish earlier in the season at the SVSU Holiday Open

Juwan Willis (Senior, Flint, Mich.) placed second in the high jump with a distance of 1.83m (6' 0"). He is in ninth place in the WHAC with his performance earlier in the season at the IWU Midwest Classic. Brenden Knoll (Sophomore, Zeeland, Mich.) had a distance of 14.85m (48' 8.75") in the shot put for third place that lifted him to fourth place in the WHAC. 

Jareb Duggan (Senior, Hartland, Mich.) had a time of 9:23.26 in the 3k for fourth place and is 14th in the WHAC with his performance at the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic. Zach Kunst (Senior, Grand Rapids, Mich.) finished fourth in the weight throw with a distance of 16.20m (53' 1.75") and earned a PR as he propelled himself to fourth place in the WHAC. He also placed sixth in the shot put with a distance of 13.91m (45' 7.75") and currently is in third place in the WHAC with his finish at the SVSU Holiday Open.

Bradley Bauer (Junior, Crestline, Ohio) had a time of 4:38.92 in the mile for fifth place and is 17th in the WHAC with his finish at the IWU Midwest Classic. Johnathon Beattie (Freshman, Grand Ledge, Mich.) cleared the bar at 4.05m (13' 3.5") in the pole vault finishing in fifth place. He is currently tied for sixth place in the WHAC with his performance at the SVSU Classic. Sebastian Hamilton (Junior, Colon, Mich.) placed fifth in the shot put with a distance of 13.94m (45' 9") and earned a PR that lifted him to eighth place in the WHAC. He also finished ninth in the weight throw with a distance of 15.14m (49' 8.25") and is currently sixth in the WHAC with his performance at the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic.

Jefferson Edwards (Sophomore, Toledo, Ohio) had a distance of 15.74m (49' 8.25") in the weight throw for sixth place. He's currently third in the WHAC and 27th in the NAIA with his finish at the Larry Cole Invite. He also finished seventh in the shot put with a distance of 13.79m (45' 3") and is seventh in the WHAC with his performance at the SVSU Holiday Open.

Thomas Kendziora (Freshman, Adrian, Mich.) placed eighth in the shot put with a distance of 13.46m (44' 2") and is ninth in the WHAC with his finish at the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic. Conner Brodie (Freshman, Clinton, Mich.) had a distance of 13.01m (42' 8.25") in the shot put for 10th place and earned a PR that lifted him to 13th in the WHAC.
