Men's Track And Field Earns Three PR's At Hillsdale Wide-Track Classic

HILLSDALE, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's indoor track and field team competed at the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic hosted by Hillsdale College of Friday, February 7th and Saturday, February 8th.

TOP FINISHERS

Cedric Grant (Freshman, Clinton, Mich.) earned a PR as he finished with a time of 1:59.78 in the 800m for second place that propelled him to sixth place in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC).

Jareb Duggan (Senior, Hartland, Mich.) placed second in the 3000m with a time of 9:15.52.

Cedric Grant (Freshman, Clinton, Mich.), Bradley Bauer (Junior, Crestline, Ohio), Jordan Parkinson (Junior, Coldwater, Mich.), and Dalin Morris (Freshman, Toledo, Ohio) earned second in the 4x800 with a time of 8:29.61 that lifted them to fourth place in the WHAC.

Jordan Parkinson (Junior, Coldwater, Mich.) had a time of 2:00.03 in the 800m that placed him in fourth and earned him seventh in the WHAC.

Johnathon Beattie (Freshman, Grand Ledge, Mich.) cleared the bar at 4.07m (13' 4.25") for fifth place in the pole vault. He's currently tied for fifth place in the WHAC in the pole vault with his finish earlier in the season at the SVSU Classic.

Davion Curry (Junior, Detroit, Mich.) finished with a distance of 6.86m (22' 6.25") in the long jump for fifth place. He's currently in second place in the WHAC and 19th in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) in the long jump with his performance at the SVSU Classic.

Liam Hartsuff (Sophomore, Chelsea, Mich.) earned a PR as he placed sixth in the 3000m with a time of 8:57.75 that propelled him to fourth in the WHAC. 

Sebastian Hamilton (Junior, Colon, Mich.) also earned a PR as he had a distance of 15.78m (51' 9.25") in the weight throw to place him in seventh and lifted him to sixth in the WHAC.

Jefferson Edwards (Sophomore, Toledo, Ohio) placed eighth in the weight throw with a distance of 15.52m (50' 11"). He currently sits in third place in the WHAC and 27th in the NAIA in the weight throw with his performance at the Larry Cole Invitational.

Nathan Parker (Freshman, Macomb, Mich.) finished in eighth in the 400m with a time of 52.18.
