Three Saints Earn Provos to Highlight Outing at SVSU

SAGINAW, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's track and field team competed at the Saginaw Valley State University Classic on Friday. Naythan Haslam (Sophomore, Wyndotte, Mich.) had a B-Standard mark in the first place finish of 48.99 in the 400m. Davion Curry (Junior, Detroit, Mich.) had a B-Standard mark in the first place finish of 7.03m (23' 0.75") in the long jump. He also placed fourth in the 60m with a time of 7.13 seconds and fifth in the 200m with a time of 22.88 seconds. Jefferson Edwards (Sophomore, Toledo, Ohio) had a B-Standard mark in the first place finish of 16.25m (53' 3.75") in the weight throw. He also placed fifth in the shot put 13.42m (44' 0.5").

TOP FINISHERS

Jordan Parkinson (Junior, Coldwater, Mich.) finished first in the mile with a time of 4:30.11. Johnathon Beattie (Freshman, Grand Ledge, Mich.) earned first in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 4.20m (13' 9.25").

Cedric Grant (Freshman, Clinton, Mich.) was second in the 800m with a time of 2:03.00. Juwan Willis (Senior, Flint, Mich.) finished second with a distance of 1.81m (5' 11.25") in the high jump. Timothy Werner (Sophomore, Temperance, Mich.) earned second in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 4.05m (13' 3.5"). Brendon Knoll (Sophomore, Zeeland, Mich.) finished second with a distance of 14.02m (46'0") in the shot put. He also finished fourth in the weight throw 14.04m (46' 0.75")

Cherrard Cohen (Junior, Detroit, Mich,) finished the 60m in 7.12 second, which was good for third place. Zach Kunst (Senior, Grand Rapids, Mich.) placed third in the weight throw 14.91m (48' 11").

Jonathan Parker (Junior, Westland, Mich.) placed fifth in the 60m with a time of 7.13 seconds. Liam Hartsuff (Sophomore, Chelsea, Mich.) finished fifth in the 3000m with a time of 9:04.34. 

Sebastian Hamilton (Junior, Colon, Mich.) earned sixth in the shot put 13.32m (43' 8.5"). He also placed ninth in the weight throw 12.95m (42' 6").

Conner Brodie (Freshman, Clinton, Mich.) finished eighth 12.27m (40' 3.25"). Da'Ron Martin (Junior, Ypsilanti, Mich.) earned eighth in the weight throw 13.06m (42' 10.25").

Robert Milton (Junior, Romulus, Mich.) placed 10th in the 200m with a time of 23.64 seconds. Nathan Parker (Freshman, Macomb, Mich.) earned 10th in the 400m with a time of 52.08 seconds. Benjamin Hubbell (Sophomore, Jackson, Mich.) finished 10th in the weight throw 11.20m (36' 9").
