SHU Men's Track and Field Win Six Events at Hillsdale Invitational

HILLSDALE, Mich. -- The 25th-ranked Siena Heights men's track and field team won five events at the Hillsdale Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Robert Drew highlighted the day winning both the shot put and the discus. He threw the shot put 15.75m (50' 9.25") and the discus 49.88m (163'8").

Brent Rodden won the 400-meter run with a time of 49.19. He was also a member of the 4x400 relay team with Naythan Haslam, William Jackson, and Robert Milton that won the event with a time of 3:24.43. Milton also won the triple jump with a leap of 13.58m (44' 6.75"). Zachery Kunst was the final Saint winner of the day. He won the javelin with a mark of 46.49m (152' 6"). He finished fourth in the hammer throw with a heave of 47.71m (156' 6").

Haslam finished second in the 400-meter run with a time of 49.87. He also finished fifth in the 200-meter with a time of 22.86. Tyler Ross finished second in the shot put with a throw of 14.43m (47' 4.25"). He was also fifth in the discus with a throw of 43.69m (143' 4")

Jordan Keith cleared the high jump bar at 1.99m (6' 6.25") to finish third in the event. Jordan Parkinson finished third in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:09.31. The 4x100 relay team consisting of Shae McClary, Naythan Haslam, Garret Young, and Robert Milton finished the event in 43.50 for third. Brenden Knoll had top-five finishes in the discus (3rd, 44.91m [147' 4"]) and the shot put (13.90m [45' 7.25"]).

William Jackson finished the 800-meter run in 2:01.84 for fourth place. Matt Lentine placed fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:03.88. Bradley Bauer was fifth in the 1500-meter with a time of 4:17.50. Benjamin Hubbell launched the shot put 43.69m (143' 4").
