Siena Heights men's track and field team members Brent Rodden and Devonte Johnson were named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Athletes of the week, on Monday.
Rodden ran his season-best, automatic-qualifying time of 1:53.77 (after conversion) in the 800 meter, claiming the top time in the NAIA while earning first place at the Findlay Classic by over 2.5 seconds.
Johnson earned a first place finish in the pole vault with an automatic-qualifying height of 16 feet, 3/4 inches. He is currently ranked second in the NAIA.
The Saints will return to action on Friday and Saturday at the Hillsdale Widetrack Meet.
