Men's and Women's T&F Hold at Second in USTFCCCA Weekly Rankings #2

NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The Siena Heights men's and women's track and field teams were each ranked second in the NAIA as the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Team Computer Rankings announced their second week of rankings of the indoor season, on Wednesday.

Brent Rodden remains the only Saint to hold a No. 1 time in the NAIA (800m run) on the men's side. Two Lady Saints currently hold the best performance in the NAIA, high-jumper Marissa Johnson and triple-jumper Mildrenae Young-Brooks.

The men currently dropped some points, now sitting at 231.29 points, only 0.07 points more than third-ranked Doane (Neb.). The women dropped to 238.04 points. Both teams are ranked second behind Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference foe Indiana Tech.

The USTFCCCA National Team Computer Rankings are tabulated by assigning point totals to where athletes and relay teams stand on the descending order lists from the current season.

The next set of rankings will be released on Wednesday, February 8.
