Seven First Place Performances for Men's T&F at the Don Kleinow Invite

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's track and field team earned seven first place victories, four automatic-qualifying performances and three provisional performances at the SHU Don Kleinow Invitational on Saturday.

With an auto-time of 14.53 seconds, Frederick Boyd took first place in the 110m hurdles. Torin Anderson finished in first place in the 400m hurdles at 54.75.

Dominic Muessig finished with an automatic-qualifying time 1:51.53 to take first place in the 800m run. Finishing in second at 1:53.56 was Brent Rodden.

Zakary Haines took first place in the 200m dash at a provisional time of 21.65 seconds. He also finished in second place in the 400 meter dash with a provisional time of 48.38 seconds. 

In the discus throw, Patrick Goebel threw 49.69m for first place and an automatic bid.

Siena Heights tied for first in the 4x100m relay coming in at 42.21 seconds. Team members were Haines, Blaine Ellington, Javon McQueen and Demetris Hughs.

The Saints also took first in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:18.70. Team members were Haines, Joshua Miles, Rodden and Muessig.

Logan Gray finished second in the shot put with an automatic-distance of 16.57m.

In the hammer throw, Paul Jacobs took second after throwing 50.79m, a provisional distance.

Victor Bey flew 6.81m in the men's long jump for third place. 

Next up, the Saints will travel to the Gina Relays hosted by Hillsdale on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
