Men's T&F Earns Two School Records at Findlay and GVSU

ALLENDALE, Mich./FINDLAY, Ohio -- The Siena Heights men's track and field team finished with five improved auto-qualifying preformances, including two school records, during the GVSU Big Meet on Friday & Saturday and the Findlay Open on Saturday. 

The 4x400m relay team comprised of Zakary Haines, Joshua Miles, Juarrezz Smith and Dominic Muessig finished in second place with a SHU record time of 3:14.94, on a 300m track at GVSU.

Also finishing with a SHU record, Richard DePalma took first in the pole vault. He cleared the bar at 17-3.5 (5.27m) at Findlay.

At GVSU, Haines improved his time in the 400m dash to 48.65 seconds. 

Brent Rodden improved his times in the 600m and 800m run. In the 600m, he finished in 1:20.79 while finishing in 1:53.66 in the 800m at GVSU.

The Saints will take on the WHAC Indoor Championships at Aquinas, on Saturday.
