Men's T&F Vaults to New Heights at Hillsdale Meet

HILLSDALE, Mich.-- The Siena Heights men's track and field team finished the Hillsdale Wide-Track Classic with two first place finished and three personal records, including a record-setting vault by Richard DePalma.

DePalma vaulted to first place with a height of 5.25 meters (17 feet, 2.7 inches), a new personal record. With the new personal record DePalma is currently in first place in the NAIA.

Frederick Boyd had a first place finish in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.24. Boyd was followed by Joshua Jenkins in second place with a time of 8.30. Both times meet the Auto Qualifying mark.

Tre' Goynes jumped to a second place finish in the high jump with a height of 1.98 meters.

In the 200 meter dash Zakary Haines placed fourth with a new personal best time of 22.07, also meeting the Auto Qualifying mark.

Logan Gray threw a new personal record of 16.52m (54-2.5) in the shot put for sixth place.
