UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. -- Dominic Muessig and Richard DePalma led the third-ranked Seina Heights men's track and field team's effort at the Jet's Pizza Invitational at Saginaw Valley State University over Friday and Saturday.  

Muessig took home a first place finish in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:52.07, while DePalma took first in the pole vault at 16 feet, 6.75 inches (5.05m)

The Saints lone second place finish came from Gerald Richardson in the high jump. He cleared 6-6 (1.98m) to bring home the runner up placement.

Five Saints were able to reach the podium with fourth place finishes. Joshua Jenkins took fourth in the heptahlon at 4801. Zakary Haines placed fourth in the 400 meter dash at 48.62.

Brent Rodden followed Muessig in the 800 meter with a fourth place time of 1:53.82.  

Jacob Compagner took fourth in the weight throw at 56 feet (17.07 meters), while Robert Drew threw the shot 52 feet, 3.25 inches (15.93m) for his fourth place finish.

The Saints will now travel to Ada, Ohio for the Ohio Northern Invitational on February 6th.
