 Saints Fall to #18 Indiana Tech, 0-2

ADRIAN, Mich.– The Siena Heights men's soccer hosted #18 Indian Tech at home in O'Laughlin Stadium Saturday afternoon in a one o'clock game. After a scrappy 90:00 minutes, the Saints did not find the back of the net, ending the game 0-2. The match makes Shu 2-4-1 in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference plays and is 4-7-1 overall.

Siena Heights held 11 total shots with four on goal. Timm Castro, Gaizka Zandio, Alex Gregory, and Cameron Gouin were the four Saints to have shots on goal. Ricardo Moreno (L, 2-1-1) made three saves during his 90:00 minutes and faced a total of five shots on goal.

The Warriors scored early into the first half to go up 1-0 and netted their second goal at the 33rd-minute mark. Both shots found opposite corners of the goal. Siena fought back against the number 18 ranked Indiana Tech drawing a total of four yellow cards and one red card from the visiting team in the scrappy fight for victory. As time wound down the game slipped away from SHU and ended two goals to none.

"A great effort against a very good team today. Needed to find a goal in the second half to put them under pressure. But we couldn't find it."
