ADRIAN, Mich. – The Siena Heights men's soccer tied with the Lawrence Tech Blue devils in a Wednesday night home game in O'Laughlin Stadium. The first tie game of the season makes the Saints WHAC record 1-2-1, with an overall season record of 3-5-1.

Junior, Marcelo Rocha led the Saints finding the back of the net early for Siena. Lewis Crombie had two shots as did Gaizka Zandio and Matheus Marrote. Ricardo Moreno (L, 1-1) was in net for the Saints seeing 90:00 minutes of play, and made eight saves.

Siena Heights found the netting early after Rocha broke through the Blue Devils' defense to score. The Saints controlled the second half as they held the score at 1-0 thanks to a solid defensive effort. SHU had three good looks on goal but was unable to further the lead over Lawrence Tech. Then late in the game near the 75th minute, the visiting team scored to tie the game. Siena had a heartbreaking header by Zandio that hit the post, ending the game in a tie.
