Seven SHU Men’s Soccer Players Honored with WHAC Awards

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced the 2021 WHAC Men's Soccer Awards this afternoon. Seven men's soccer players represented Siena Heights on the list.

Jacob Wojciechowski was the SHU player on the Champions of Character team and the WHAC all-academic team. On the all-academic honors sheet, Franco Alves, Alex Hanosh, Nathaniel Kehres, Joel Koshko, Nick Mancani, and Carlos Palan joined Wojciechowski.

Wojciechowski started 11 games between the posts for the Saints this year. He made 65 saves and accumulated a 4-6-1 record for the season.

Alves appeared in four games in the mid-field for the Saints during the season.

Hanosh scored a goal and had an assist in his seven appearances. His goal was the game-winning tally in a 3-1 win over Adrian.

Kehres played in three games and recorded a shot as a defender.

Koshko made 13 starts in 14 appearances on defense for Siena Heights. He tallied three shots, all of which were on goal.

Mancani saw the field in eight games as a member of the backline for SHU.

Palan appeared in three games as a mid-fielder for the Saints.
