Siena Heights men's soccer Senior Leo Hisamatsu (Osaka, Japan) was honored by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference as the men's soccer defensive player of the week as announced by the league office today.
Hisamatsu helped the Saints to achieve a 1-0-1 record in WHAC play on the week. While in net, Hisamatsu totaled 18 saves and 13 of his saves came in the 0-0 tie with nationally ranked UNOH to achieve a shutout.
This is Hisamatsu's second WHAC weekly award of his career and the first Saints men's soccer player to earn a WHAC weekly honor this season.
Hisamatsu leads the Saints back into action Wednesday, October 23rd as they face the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils in a WHAC contest.
