Men's Soccer Falls to Michigan-Dearborn in WHAC Action

RIVERVIEW, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Michigan-Dearborn in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest, on Saturday.

Scoring the winning goal in the 41st-minute for the Wolverines (4-6-0, 1-4-0 WHAC) was Mike Smith, finishing a pass from Tanner Wallace.

The Saints (3-8-0, 1-4-0 WHAC) outshot UM-Dearborn 29-7, managing nine shots on frame as the Wolverines had three. Leading SHU in shots was Rahbar Khan with nine, including five on goal. The Saints also held a 10-3corner kick advantage.

Morgen Gardocki started in goal for SHU and allowed one goal prior to being relieved by Andrew Kozan in the beginning on the second half. Kozan stopped two shots. Dylon DaSilva made nine saves for the Wolverines.

Siena Heights will return to action on Wednesday as they host Lourdes in a 7 p.m. WHAC contest.
