Wilkie Helps Men's Soccer Defeat Huntington

HUNTINGTON, Ind. -- Matt Wilkie scored the lone goal for the Siena Heights men's soccer team in the 1-0 victory over non-conference opponent Huntington (Ind.), on Wednesday.

Luis Miguel Anaya crossed the ball to Wilkie who finished the lone goal in the 16th minute of action, ending the Saints (1-2-0) two-game losing streak.

Winning goalkeeper Leo Hisamatsu earned the shutout for the Saints, making four saves. Brad Buzzard started in net for the Foresters and made one save before being relieved by Troy Hester at halftime. Hester ended with three stops.

Huntington (1-4-0) outshot the Saints, 8-7, and held a 7-2 corner-kick advantage.

Siena Heights will host Cleary on Saturday for a 7 p.m. contest.
