Men's Soccer Ends Season at Aquinas

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's soccer drops a 4-0 decision against Aquinas, on Saturday, for the final match of the 2015 season. 

Aquinas opened the scoring in the fifth minute, Justin Reamon scoring off of a pass from Juan Torres. Aldony Mendez added a goal in the eighth minute, then assisted a Cameron Vela goal in the 29th minute for AQ (11-3-3, 2-7-2). 

Morgen Gardocki made six saves in the second half, but it wasn't enough to keep out a second Mendez goal, assisted by Reamon to end the scoring for the match. 

Saints' goalkeeper Leo Hisamatsu had three goals against until relieved by Gardocki in the 37th minute. Gardocki made six saves for the SHU Saints and had one goal against. Ty VandePoel made two stops in net for Aquinas. 

The Siena Heights Saints were outshot by Aquinas, 27-6. AQ held a 6-3 corner-kick advantage over SHU.

The Siena Heights men's soccer team ends their season 7-8-2 overall and 2-7-2 in the WHAC. This is the Saints' best overall record since 2010 when they went 10-8-1.
