Five Saints Score in Men's Soccer Victory

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's soccer team take down WHAC opponent Concordia in a 5-1 victory, on Saturday.

Concordia started off the scoring in the second minute with a goal by Nathan Harris, assisted by Roberth Ramirez. Saints Brent Rodden responded in the third minute, finishing a cross from Matt Lentine. Elmedin Celovic would score the game-winner for SHU in the 26th minute, heading the ball into the net off a cross from Matt Wilkie.

Siena Heights scored three goals in the second half. Solo goals came from Nathaniel Kraus, Kaysey Collins, and Keith Swistock. Luis Miguel Anaya was given two assists -- crossing the ball into Kraus and sending a chip pass in to Swistock.  

SHU goalkeeper Leo Hisamatsu was credited with the win. Jonathan Detwiler made four saves in net for the Cardinals (0-8-0, 0-2-0).

The Saints outshot the Cardinals 23-1, and held a 4-0 corner-kick advantage.

The Siena Heights men's soccer team (6-1-0, 1-0-0) will be back in action on Tuesday to host WHAC opponent Cornerstone.
