Late Goals Propel Men's Soccer To Win Over Huntington

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Three late goals lifted the Siena Heights men's soccer team to a 4-1 non-conference won over Huntington (Ind.) on Monday.

Matt Lentine and Brent Rodden scored two goals apiece for the Saints. Rodden also had an assist.

Lentine scored in 57th minute for the Saints, but was shortly answered by the Foresters' Isaac Wust in the 60th.

Lentine finished a header crossed in by Rodden to tally the game-winning goal in the 84th minute. Rodden added a goal in the 85th minute from 35 yards out and converted on a penalty kick in the 88th minute.

Leo Hisamatsu earned the win in net for the Saints, making three saves, while counterpart James Couchman made four saves for the Foresters.

SHU (2-1-0) and Huntington (2-2-0) were tied in shots at 12-all and corner kicks at 2-2.

The Saints will return to action on Saturday with a non-conference home game against Calumet Saint Joseph (Ind.).
