Gallaher Becomes All-Time Points Leader in #6 Men's Lax Win Against #RV Madonna

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Jake Gallaher had two goals and one assist, becoming the Siena Heights men's lacrosse team's career leader in points, as the sixth-ranked Saints defeated Madonna, 15-9, on Wednesday at O'Laughlin Stadium.

Gallaher entered the night with 182 career points -- tied with SHU head coach Spencer Macek (2012-16) and Shane Lewandowski (2015-18) -- before scoring a first-period goal.

Eric Csizmadia finished with four goals and two assists while SHU's leading point-getter on the night, Devin Plemmons, totaled three goals and five assists.

Ethan Wissink had two goals and Jimmy McGrath, Fernando Robison, Logan Hudnut and Joey Keck planted one apiece. McGrath and Keck also had assists.

Robison had another strong game inside the faceoff circle, winning 18 of 24 draws. He accumulated 15 groundballs.

Wissink added seven groundballs and three caused turnovers to the Siena Heights effort. Winning goalie Jakob Moske made four saves.

Siena Heights jumped out in front with a 4-1 run in the first quarter and never looked back after taking a 10-3 edge into halftime.

Nick Conrad was the leading scorer for Madonna (5-4, 1-1) with three goals and one assist.

The Saints (3-2, 1-0) will return to action with a 4 p.m. WHAC game at Concordia.
