Gallaher Ties Career Points Record as #RV Men's Lacrosse Rolls Over #RV Ottawa (Kan.)

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Jake Gallaher scored four goals and tied the Siena Heights men's lacrosse career points as the Saints rolled to a 19-8 victory over Ottawa (Kan.) on Thursday night at O'Laughlin Stadium.

Gallaher's four points pulled him into a tie at 182 points with current Saints coach Spencer Macek (2012-16) and Shane Lewandowski (2015-18).

Eric Csizmadia led the SHU effort against Ottawa with five goals and three assists. Devin Plemmons added three goals and four assists.

Logan Hudnut added three goals and Jimmy McGrath contributed two goals and one assist. Alyx Lawson and Joey Keck had one goal and one assist apiece.

Fernando Robison had a dominant night in the faceoff circle, winning 16 of 20 draws. He totaled 15 groundballs.

Ethan Wissink finished with five groundballs and three caused turnovers. Winning goalie Jakob Moske totaled 11 saves.

The Saints jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first quarter and never trailed.

Siena Heights held a 12-4 edge at halftime before the Braves (2-2) trimmed their deficit to 12-7. The Saints then went on a 7-0 run to put the game away for good.

SHU (2-2) will return to action on Wednesday, March 29, with its WHAC opener against Madonna at 7 p.m. at O'Laughlin Stadium.
