Jake Gallaher and Fernando Robison Named NAIA All-Americans

KANSAS CITY – Siena Heights men's lacrosse players Jake Gallaher and Fernando Robison were named to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Men's Lacrosse All-America Teams when the national office announced those selected on Monday afternoon. Gallaher was on the first team while Robison was on the second team.

Gallaher finished the year with 51 goals which ranked fourth in the WHAC. He led the Saints with 72 points this season which was second in the WHAC. He was a first-team All-WHAC selection his freshman season in 2019. Gallaher finishes his career with 165 points, 104 goals, 61 assists, and 196 ground balls. He ranks second in the SHU career records for ground balls and third all-time in points, goals, and assists.

"I'm incredibly proud of Jake for his accomplishments on the field as well as off the field," said men's lacrosse head coach Spencer Macek. "He does it all for us as a scorer, playmaker, and defender. He also leads and makes all of his teammates better, whether it's at practice, in the game, or in the classroom. Jake is everything you expect in an All-American. I could not be happier for him and all of his hard work paying off."

Robison immediately impacted the team this season as he was the leading faceoff man for the Saints. He won a league-leading 262-358 in faceoffs for an incredible 73.2% winning percentage. He also led the WHAC in ground balls with 198. Both of those totals also lead the entire NAIA.

"Fernando is the first one in and the last one out of our facilities," stated coach Macek. "He is continually bringing his teammates along with him and making them better. This award shows the results of that hard work. I could not be prouder of the young man Fernando is becoming. He exemplifies what it means to be an All-American on and off the field."
