ADRIAN, Mich. – The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team never trailed in a 13-6 upset victory Wednesday night over 10th-ranked Lawrence Tech inside O'Laughlin Stadium. The Saints (5-3, 4-0 WHAC) remain unbeaten in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) matchups during the 2022 season.

Jake Gallaher and Eric Csizmadia led the way for SHU with five goals and an assist for six points in the winning effort. Gallaher led with a team-high ten shots on goal while also pulling in four ground balls. Csizmadia added one ground ball and seven shots on goal. Fernando Robison was 17-22 in faceoffs with a game-high 13 ground balls. Robison also assisted in the game-winning goal, opening the second half's scoring. Vinnie Jean (W, 5-3) made 20 saves between the pipes to earn his fifth win of the year. Garnet Potter, Ryan Moore, and Logan Hudnut scored a goal, while Devin Plemmons, Matthew Quillen, and Ethan Wissink dished an assist.

Csizmadia got things rolling with a goal in the opening two minutes of the contest for the 1-0 lead. Gallaher followed suit and scored at 10:29 for the insurance goal. The final goal of the first quarter put Lawrence Tech on the board as the Saints held a 2-1 advantage going into the second.

Gallaher scored two-straight goals to complete his hat trick and extend the SHU lead to 4-1 with 9:06 remaining in the first half. Csizmadia scored again at 7:23 before the Blue Devils netted their second goal of the game less than a minute later. Csizmadia then added his third goal of the game with just over four minutes until halftime. The Blue Devils got the final score to put the score at 6-3 as the teams entered the locker room at the break.

Potter scored in the first six seconds of the second half off an assist from Robison to put the score at 7-3. That score would turn out to be the game-winning tally for SHU. SHU put five more points on the board in the third as the home team pulled away to a 12-3 lead. Lawrence Tech scored the next three to cut the lead to six, but Csizmadia earned the game's final goal with 49 ticks left on the clock to seal the final result.
