Hooper Claims WHAC Weekly Defensive Honors

Siena Heights men's lacrosse goaltender Tyler Hooper earned the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in the 10-7 victory over Robert Morris and the 11-10 loss from No. 9 Lawrence Tech.

For the third time this season, twice this week, Hooper made 15 stops in a game. He had a .629 save percentage against LTU, allowing 11 goals and had a .643 save percentage against Robert Morris, only allowing seven goals. Hooper also recorded a season-high tying eight ground balls against LTU.

So far on the season Hooper boasts .643 save percentage with 54 saves between the pipes.

The Saints will be back in action on Tuesday, March 28, to host Concordia for a conference match up. Faceoff is set for 7 p.m.
