Lewandowski and Macek Lead SHU In Victory Over Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio -- Shane Lewandowski and Spencer Macek scored three goals each to help lift the MCLA 13th-ranked Siena Heights men's lacrosse team to a 12-5victory over Toldeo, on Monday.

SHU was up 5-2 going into halftime.

Siena Heights (5-3) scored three goals and heldToldeo to one in the third quarter. 

In the fourth quarter, SHU scored another four goals while the Rockets scored two.  

Macek lead the Saints with three goals and one assist. Danny Orr and Nicholas Lyons each finished with two goals and one assist. John Holowaty and Nathan Lipon each added solo goals. Earning assists for the Saints were Chris Acton and Adam Keay. 

Tyler Hooper stopped nine shots between the pipes for SHU. Kevin Kennedy picked up three ground balls.  

Next up, the Saints will host Aquinas for a 7:30 p.m. game on Tuesday, Mar. 29.
