MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team opened its season with a 15-5 non-conference victory over Central Michigan on Friday. 

Shane Lewandowski scored four goals and had one assist for the Saints (1-0) while Nate Woods contributed four goals and Spencer Macek added three goals and two assists. 

Also for SHU, Danny Orr tallied two goals and two assists while John Holowaty and Eric Schenck chipped in single goals. 

Tom Kreitzer, Alex Gilbert, Chris Acton and Stephen Bloxam added assists in support of winning goaltender Tyler Hooper. 

Hooper stopped nine shots during 60 minutes of action. 

The Saints will return to action on Sunday, Feb. 28 as they take on Davenport at Detroit Country Day for a 5 p.m. game.
