Men’s Golf Places Third at the Cleary Fall Invitational

BRIGHTON, Mich. – The Siena Heights men's golf team finished third at the Cleary Fall Invitational held at the Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, Michigan, with a team score of 310.

Lourdes sat atop the team standings with a score of 304. Indiana Tech finished one stroke ahead of SHU with a 309. Cleary and Madonna tied for fourth, while the second Siena Heights team was sixth. Mott Community College was seventh while Michigan-Dearborn was eighth ahead of the second Cleary team rounded out the standings.

Colin Duffy led the Saints with a final score of +4 (75) to tie for third in the individual standings. Benjamin Ellis finished behind Duffy to tie in eighth with a score of +5 (76). Davis Longyear recorded a +8 (79) to tie for 18th, while Grady Morlock tied for 21st with an +9 (80). Garrett Ramos scored a +10 (81) to round out the SHU scores.

Jakob Gross tied for 15th with a +8, while Ben Armbruster scored a +9 to tie for 21st. Ryan Ward shot an 82 (+11) to tie in 27th, while Drew Grennes (31st, 83) and Michael Rampe Jr. (T36, 86) finished off the scoring for the second Siena Heights team.

Fall Wrap Up

This is the final tournament for the SHU men's golf team during the fall season. The Saints will return to action in the spring for the second half of the season.
