SYLVANIA, Ohio -- The Siena Heights men's golf team finished fifth at the Gray Wolf Invitational hosted by Lourdes University at the Sylvania Country Club on Monday afternoon. The Saints compiled a team score of 324 to claim the fifth slot in the team standings.
Host Lourdes won the tournament with the team playoff by the fifth man after tying with Madonna with the top score of 310. Ohio Northern was third with a 316, while Cleary finished fourth with a 322. The Saints were eight shots better than Concordia (Mich.), who rounded out the team leaderboard.
Colin Duffy won the tournament as an individual with a +2, 74. Garrett Ramos had a +5 (77) to tie in fourth in the individual standings. Jakob Gross tied in 35th with a final score of +12 (84), which was two strokes ahead of Grady Morlock with a 40th-place score of +14 (86). Benjamin Ellis recorded a +15 (87) to claim 46th. Davis Longyear finished off the scoring for the Saints with a +17 (89) to tie for 49th.

The SHU men's golf team will compete at the Cougars Invitational in Brighton, Michigan, or the Whistling Straits Championship in Kohler, Wisconsin. Both tournaments begin on Monday, October 17.
