SHU Men's Golf Places 11th at Ken Venturi Invitational

ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team finished 11th at the Ken Venturi Invitational hosted by Trine at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana. The Saints totaled 328 to claim the 11th spot in the team standings.

Ohio Wesleyan won the tournament ahead of Huntington and host Trine, who had a team in the third and fourth spots. Ohio Northern was fifth to round out the top five. 

Jakob Gross led the way for Siena Heights with a 76 to tie for 20th on the individual leaderboard. Ryan Ward completed the day with an 80 for 36th place. Drew Grennes and Ben Armbruster shot an 86 for 64th. Michael Rampe Jr. had a 91 for 74th to end the scoring for the Saints.

UP NEXT

The SHU men's golf team will compete in the WHAC Fall Preview next Monday and Tuesday, September 26 and 27. The two-day tournament will take place at the Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek, Michigan.
